Almost Time To Go

A little more than a month to go until I leave for Cannes and it still doesn't seem like it's actually going to happen.  Maybe when I finally step onto the French tarmac it'll hit me, but as of right now I don't really know what to feel.  Still need to get train tickets set up and reserve hostels for the two weeks of traveling after the festival while trying to end the semester on a good note.  There isn't enough time in the day for what I need to do, I just want to go already.  

I've been watching the Cannes website and other entertainment publications for any news on films that will be premiering at the festival, nothing yet.  Hopefully there'll be time to research and watch some films of the directors they announce before I leave. I'm worried that we'll meet a director whose work I'm unfamiliar with, but ought to be as a film studies major, and I'll be laughed out of Cannes.  Hopefully not.
